About the workshops

This is a unique opportunity for all practitioners to experience and learn the Hendrickson Method. This cutting edge massage therapy and mobilisation of the body is totally unique, and for the first time is accessible outside of the United States. Tom Hendrickson has enabled Sue to develop this training programme in the UK. The training programme opens with a three day workshop entitled ‘Introduction to the Hendrickson Method.’

This provides therapists with the unique opportunity to experience the Hendrickson Method without committing to an extensive training programme.

As an experienced physiotherapist of 19 years, Sue has developed treatment protocol which focuses on enabling the patient to have influence over their own healing process, working from the patients own perception of comfort, reducing the risk of a secondary inflammatory response. This approach has become popular amongst both the sports community as well as people with more commonplace injuries.

The Sue Bennett workshops are a reflection of Sue’s clinical practice.

The Hendrickson Method complements and confirms Sue’s beliefs that working from a position of ease for both the patient and practitioner is the way forward for massage and physiotherapy in the UK.

Sue Bennett is a member of the LCSP Register & HPC Physiotherapist.

Don’t just take our word for it…

Tina Carrot, Massage Therapist, Shap

“Thoroughly enjoyable course which has caused me to start thinking differently about delivery of massage technique and the desired effect upon the patient. The concept of this method and its application will change the way I work completely. A fantastic learning experience, thank you.”
Kev Nolan, Massage Therapist

“A fabulous experience I feel so privileged to be involved in learning this method.”
Kath Nesbitt, Pilates Instructor about the 112 hr course

“In Sue Bennett, the UK has a presenter and interpreter of the Hendrickson who combines the technical knowledge of the work with clarity, care and flair. Sue manages to capture the spirit of the work with the sense of exploration and joy that we all share when we experience something that really works well for ourselves and our patients.
We are very fortunate to have Sue in the country as a local resource to both introduce us to this method and guide the future development of professional training in this method in the UK. This development will surely help massage therapy to take it′s rightful place within UK systems of Healthcare.”
